When the words Diane Von Furstenburg and vintage get paired together you know it's going to be epic. So when the awesome StyleList gave me a piece of the recently release collection I clearly lost it, the flowing, silk,patterned garbs are just as dreamy in person. Los Angeles (IMO) has some of the best vintage shopping in the US. Cheap, vastly available, and eclectic. I have been stocking up on vintage dresses and getting them altered ( totally worth the $). The best part about vintage dresses? The material. These days designers often cheap out on fabric for cost purposes but back in the day fabrics were very sturdy and well made for long term use. Pre Fab/Pre Fall

I absolutely loved maxi dresses for summer and I think the trend of longer dresses can absolutely transition into fall with the right layering pieces!

Paired with WET SEAL (yes, wet seal and its under $30) cropped denim Jacket, Givenchy gray/denim booties, and a TopShop chainy necklace. Happy Fall!

Geometric Lady

When I think of New York (downtown) style I immediately think of Slick,skinny jeans hipster-esque Alex Wang/Erin Wasson outfits and while that style definitely exists in LA there is much more of vintage presence here (I am sure it would be the same for NYC but vintage is insanely expensive there and usually really picked over!)
But vintage in LA is cheap and everywhere.... but for those of you in NYC don't fret I found this vintage inspired skirt at shopbird!

Vintage Dream Outfit

I could see Chloe, Michelle Williams, and some of my other fashion favs rocking this vintage look.

Rompity Romp Romp

Rompers much like Harem Pants are something that you have to try on... they are an acquired fit. The Rompers this season have a more retro and funky feel to them, I think they are adorable--- of course that is until you have to pee thennnn they are a pain. Either way find the ones above here.

As found on the fab Apartment therapy a decorator framed vintage bathing suits for their beach house! How adorable. I think this works very well especially for a summer home.
