FALLLLLL is so so so close and I literally cannot wait! Pre-Fall collections from DVF, Proenza, 3.1 Philip Lim and Rag + Bone show us some of the trends we can expect! Namely very boy-inspired cuts, lower cuts, baggier pant legs, cropped tops, over-sized coats and longer legs! What do you guys think? Excited for fall?

What's easier to throw on than a striped dress? Nothing. Stripes have been in since the 90s. They are classic, look great on everyone, and are instantly chic. TREND ALERT KIDS! We all know maxis had (and are having) a major moment but it seems the next step in the maxi-universe is the sheer trend! Obviously blocking out all the important bits, but these sheer skirts are the perfect Winter/Spring transitional piece!

Pattern Play

The whole concept of pattern play is all over the glossies, polka dots with floral, stripes with paisley etc. etc. This weekend I paired my navajo-inspired maxi skirt from Forever 21 with my newly purchased Michael Kors (reversible!) Leopard belt with gold detailing. What do you guys think?

Things to Try.

The New Year means trying new things. A few things on my list include mixing and matching plaids, getting a little cray cray with flats (studded sneakers!), and lastly channeling my inner bad girl. Not that being nice is over-rated but er'y now and than it's good to be a little bad.
