Los Angeles (IMO) has some of the best vintage shopping in the US. Cheap, vastly available, and eclectic. I have been stocking up on vintage dresses and getting them altered ( totally worth the $). The best part about vintage dresses? The material. These days designers often cheap out on fabric for cost purposes but back in the day fabrics were very sturdy and well made for long term use.
