My super talented friends Courtney + her hubs Jerad have a jewelry line aptly named Androgyny. Part masculine, part feminine their jewels perfectly encapsulate each other in a way that is effortless and beautiful. Peep the full collection here and learn more about their process (and the cute couple) in the video above.

The Portland based jewelry line, Betsy + Iya, has been churning out adorable goods since 2008. Their simple hand crafted designs are perfect for summer. Summer means one thing in LA (besides gorgeous sunshine and tans)--Event season! The event circuit in LA has been pretty amazing and I wanted to share a few events I hit up this week with you guys.

+Karla Deras of Karla's Closet launched her jewelry line with Roman Luxe (sold exclusively at Revolve Clothing) at the Chateau Marmont last night alongside the KANON vodka crew. The collection is really gorgeous (and affordable) definitely worth checking out!

+Parade Diamonds had their diamond preview at the Library at the Redbury with Nicolas Feuillatte champagne (a personal fav) the pieces were gorgeous, check out their full collection here.

+SHFT,a multi-media platform focused on a sustainable approach to video, design, art and culture, had their launch party on the rooftop of the residences at the W Hotel! Chris Holmes, one of my fav djs, was on the ones and twos. I wore a sheer dress from Need Supply, Denim Shirt tied, and J/Crew Bracelets!

Neon moved from bags to jewelry and I have to admit I love this trend. As someone who wears black and chambray far too much this is the perfect way to take any ho hum outfit and turn it into a conversation piece.

I went to check out the OF A KIND sample sale in NYC today and stumbled about jewelry designer Elizabeth Knight. The Brooklyn based designer makes hard wares for bad ass chicks. Totally loving all of her collections (very Egyptian inspired), worth a look here.

Mara Carrizo Scalise, an amazing leather goods/jewelry designer, met up with me last week to talk shop about her amazing goods and moving to LA from NY (a topic I am oh so familiar with). Mara's attention to detail and quality of products is absolutely insane. The leathers are so soft to touch and her jewelry designs are so gorgeous yet perfectly wearable for every day. The more products I saw the more I felt like I had stumbled upon a gold mine that no one even knows about! Until now of course!

You're Welcome.

PS- If you are in LA swing by the Cooper Design Space Suite #822 March 12-15th as Mara will be showing her goods!

Statement Piece.

I rock a statement piece necklace pretty much er'yday. It makes any outfit exponentially more awesome. The key to a good statement necklace is DO NOT SPLURGE, you will inevitably get tired of it and retire it to the back of your jewelry box. So here are some cute little diddies that won't break the bank, hell they won't even break a ten dollar bill.
