More Mara.

Posted on: Tuesday, April 10, 2012

Mara Hoffman is taking prints to a whole new level. Homegirl must have gone a trip to Tahiti, Fiji, or the like as her prints are very tropical-inspired and absolutely stunning! Great cuts, great statement accessories and very Coachella-worthy. Check out the whole collection here.

Huff + Puff

Huffer, the NZ brand, has launched a vintage themed HOLIDAY collection, and I am dying over that grey trench.

"We take the super old and mix it with modern, young energy," says co-founder Daniel Buckley of the Future/Antique collection. "We took a handful of vintage styles and repurposed them with a smile. We want you high fashion fawns to wear our pieces. We want your grandfathers to ask you where you found your coat."

Thistle & Clover

Cute Brooklyn boutique, Thistle and Clover, features up and coming New York Designers and has an adorable blog as well!

"The store offers coffee and treats to their Sunday visitors, and regularly invites friends and family of the store for nights of shopping and chatting in their backyard garden."

So sweet!

Keemia Fall 08

I love Keemia's stuff, feminine with a touch of tomboy... Muted colors but vibrant and interesting cuts. Doesn'tFall 2008 look amazing!?

A little info on the designer:
"A native of Los Angeles, Keemia Ferasat landed on the fashion scene in Fall 2003, after training in Paris under the supervision of a well known designer. Upon her return to Los Angeles, Keemia started designing clothes under her own label. She launched her first collection, Keemia, in Fall 2004. In March 2005, she debuted her line in a fashion show at her alma mater, the University of Southern California. "

Get to know Pepper + Pistol

Posted on: Monday, August 4, 2008

Shift Magazine has a great interview with Designers behind the label Pepper and pistol... I think that Agyness Dean would wear all of these outfits. from their Winter 08 collection.

The print is very unique and original with good sizing, elegance and refined... What girls are you aiming to be worn?

Girls who can have fun dressing and styling, who don't take fashion too serious, probably from mid 20s up.

Could you tell us where the Pepper and Pistol' is derived from?

The theme of our first season was a German children's story we both had liked, its about a thieve with a pistol shooting pepper. We never finished that first collection as we needed more time, but it became the name of our label: it perfectly represents the fusion of 2 elements - our respective backgrounds in fashion and graphic design for a wicked explosion!
