Create + Cultivate LA 2014

This was our 7th Create + Cultivate (and the biggest.) 100 ladies + gentleman from as far as Thailand gathered in a room in Downtown Los Angeles to feel inspired.  The goal of C+C has always been to enlighten, entertain and inspire-- to cultivate relationships without feeling like you are networking, to meet creatives in an environment that lets you be yourself and to hear some of the  best and the business tell their story and give invaluable advice. It is something I am incredibly proud of creating.  Each year after emails pour in about the game changing experience which make all the blood, sweat and tears that go into feel so worth while.  

Next year, we are going BIG and I mean BIG (stay tuned) and I am so excited to bring this conference to even more amazing men + women.  Below are some photos I feel captured the experience.

C+C BK

I am currently en route back to Los Angeles after our final Create+Cultivate of the year in Brooklyn. 

It's been amazing seeing C+C change and grow over the years and turn into a sort of family of sorts with people traveling far and wide to attend over and over again. Brooklyn was no exception with the likes of Jenni from ISPYDIY, the founders of Zady and Of a Kind as well as Peter Rojas all jumping in to host workshops and talk about how they got to where they are today.  It's been an amazing adventure and I can't wait till 2014!

C+C PDX

I have been long overdue to blog (it's been a crazy/ super crazy summer) between spending a bunch of time in Portland ( and meeting some amazing people), New York and LA I have been bouncing around (with Noah in tow)and  it's been stressful and fun and amazing and all came to an amazing conclusion at CREATE+CULTIVATE PDX. Ladies from all over the world  ( and past C+Cs) flew in to partake in the fun with hosts Wildfang, Art in the Age, Union Wines, Betsy + Iya and more. The day was filled with laughter, lots of cocktails, amazing food and good conversation... hosting Create+Cultivate has become an amazing emotional experience for me. After being (very unfortunately and abruptly) burned by close friends earlier this year it's been so nice to meet such lovely and REAL women via C+C. It really bonds you together in an unexpected way and everyone feels like family by the end of it proving that there are talented, quality and good people out there looking to connect, get creative and meet some other bad ass ladies.

I can't wait for C+C Brooklyn--- tickets are on sale--- it's all happening September 22nd and I can't wait to usher in a new class into C+C.
