Working for the Weekend.

I've been back and forth between weddings the past three weeks: Laguna, Hawaii + Palm Springs. It's been a whirlwind to say the least! In that time I've done a few things I wanted to share that might be of interest to my fine readers:

I was lucky enough to spend the weekend with my mom and sister in Palm Springs! We stayed at the PARKER which is by far one of my favorite hotels in California, perfectly mid-century with lush greenery and stiff cocktails. My kinda place. My sister who runs, Stay Forever Photography, had me do a little photo shoot!

Retro Palm Springs.

As you may or may not know I am mildly obsessed with retro Palm Springs (and current day Palm Springs for that matter). But there is something about the decadence and style of the Sinatra era that just seems so Glamourous! And one of the most chic brands of the 70s was of course MISSONI! And they are still killing it today, that headband? those clogs? die! Click on the images to purchase, or drool over.

coachella is just around the corner and although I may not have tickets, I do have house, loads of friends going, and amazing cocktail making skills. I am so excited to be heading down to Palm Springs this weekend for Halloween! A little lounging by the pool, a little ACE hotel craziness, and nothing but sunshine! Also check out the house we are renting! (thank you miss Chelsea Matthews for planning it all).
