Une Fille Comme Les Autres from Jalouse blog on Vimeo.
As someone who works in advertising/marketing and who has probably sat in meetings just like this one, I found it refreshing that JALOUSE put this out. YES YES YES it is controversial and very meta in that it still is an AD but it definitely speaks to the fact that we are strive for this PERFECT idealic life, things are easy, c'est la vie when we all know that isn't true. Yes it's fun to watch pretty people do glamorous things but it's important to remember that it doesn't make OUR lives any less interesting. There is beauty in imperfection and this whole media circus that is advertising is just for fun and to be taken lightly. thanks for the comments ladies!
ReplyDeleteI agree that the pressure to present a perfect lifestyle can sometimes make ordinary life seem less valuable. The idea that beauty can also exist in imperfection is especially relevant when choosing a place to live, since a home should fit real needs and lifestyle rather than simply look perfect in advertising. For those exploring housing options, Northern properties can offer a different perspective on combining comfort, nature, and everyday living.
ReplyDeleteI like the message about finding beauty in imperfection rather than chasing an idealized lifestyle. The same idea can apply to property: a home does not need to look perfect to feel special, and thoughtful details can make a real difference. For example, choosing the right window solutions can improve both the appearance and comfort of a home, while energy-efficient glazing can be a practical consideration when renovating or buying a property.
