The Anti Cheerleader.

I adore this picture from Lisa Place. I feel like it sort of defines our generation or a generation younger than mine. It is the anti-cheerleader... non-uniformed, not sexualized, independent from the masses, not necessarilly modern but sort of throw back to 70s cool. Yet, the girl still want to be held up and looked up to by their peers. Very interesting and beautiful shot.

What I did this weekend: Brooklyn Museum

Went to check out the bklyn museum Murakami exhibit with DB, the exhibition is amazing really fun and pop culture-y :). They have a Louis Vuitton store in the middle of the exhibit with all the limited edition Murakami bags for sale (clever capitalists eh?). Here are some photos, enjoy! Oh and we ate at this amazing restaurant Black Pearl (if you are in Park Slope def check it out).

OYSTER says they don't tell you how to dress rather they "present a style that reflects a variety of contemporary ideas from an array of the most creative non-conformists." Hmmm non-conformist in the magazine industy? They do have amazing photos though.
