Ended up at Kingswood last night an Aussie Bar on West 10th.
The bar is beautifully designed and the service is really great if you head downstairs there is a doorman guarding a random door near the bathrooms. We ended up goign in with a friend but if you didn't know anyone you weren't getting in. I heard him telling a few people it's a "private party". However by 2 AM he was gone.
The room is dark, low lit and by the end of the night super packed. The DJ was spinning the Ramones, the Strokes, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, etc. which made for a fun chill bar vibe. There is one table in the back but no bottle service... I heard one guy yell out "This is the new Beatrice." All in All a good time, a nice crowd, and chill music.
