Ever since AlisaMLeo and I took a walking tour of Brooklyn Street Art I have had my eyes peeled to spot some on my own! And I did! I spotted Mr. Brainswash's giant Angie + Madonna Marilyn renditions in the meatpacking district! I love how Mr. Brainwash (an established artist as well as street art vigilante) uses the pop images circa Warhol and transforms them to make them his own.
and guess what? he's based in los angeles. ;)

we do agree there are zillions of copycats in this field, but be assured they can only copy the content, not the ideas!
