Cindy Sherman: Untitled Film Stills

Cindy Sherman is one of my favorite photographgers and her Untitled film still collection is epic and has been inspiration for Photographers over the years. Sherman began taking these pics in 1977, when she was twenty-three.

They were supposed to act as a glimpses into the life of an imaginary blonde actress, played by Sherman herself ( sort a still from a film that didn't exist). They were supposed to be "caught of guard moments" however they were clearly planned and cliched (a favorite technique of the campy set.)
