My very stylish friend in NYC by way of LA does not understand why I don't have a major obsession with shoes. For me (a child of Florida and flip flops) they just never had the same allure as say a vintage necklace, giant bag, or a fabulous high waisted skirt? But I am learning. And as she is teaching me the ways of the shoe world she sent me this "POSSO THE SPAT"

In London I took a social psychology course. one of the best classes of my life. And, one of the most outstanding things I learned was about an experiment called "The milgram experiment"... the experiment revolves around obedience and group behavior when told to do something by someone who is considered "a professional" or of "authority" the results are very interesting and scary. Granted this study was done a while back but worth reading about anyway especially in the world today.

A new band that the Guardian in the UK dubs the next best thing.... They are called "The Hours" not sure if it is a reference to the Virginia Woolf book or not but they are putting out some great music. Check out their myspace page Here
